Key Responsibilities
PRE-SEASON
- Farmer Mobilization & Sensitization
- Digital Registration using mobile tools
- Geo-tagging farms
- Input planning & seed selection
DURING SEASON
- Technical farmer training on FarmERP
- Crop monitoring using NDVI, LSWI indices
- Demo plot establishment
- Advisory on nutrients, moisture, weather
HARVEST
- Guide optimal harvest timing
- Quality & moisture management training
- Post-harvest handling support
- Weekly digital reports & data management
Required Qualifications
Academic:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, Agricultural Extension, or related field
- Minimum Second Class Upper preferred
Experience:
- At least 1 year working with farmers or agricultural projects
- Farmer training or extension experience is an advantage
- Familiarity with digital tools/mobile apps is desirable
Technical Skills:
- Agronomic expertise in soil, crop, and pest management
- Digital literacy (smartphone, apps, basic computer)
- Ability to conduct demos, trainings, and field assessments
